Roberto and Cecilia at a party at his friend from Peru. Many of the men at the party meet once a week to talk about philosophy. Some of the people there were economists, artists, professors, school administration, architects, retired ambassador and a retired federal judge to name a few.
Some of the girls. Again the lack of Spanish got in my way of a full experience but there were several people who were happy to practice their English on me.
The Federal Judge (quite the character) with a trained singer. After the meal we all sat around and sang or listened to some of the guests break out in solos, duets or group songs. Lots of beautiful voices - mine was not one of them.
This group every 2-3 months for a party and they celebrate all of the birthdays that happened since the last party. There were two this time.
Since the host was from Peru the dinner was too. I had some of everything.
